Join us on our truly unique riverboat tour to Alta Canyon, where the landscape gradually transforms from lush river plains to dramatic mountain walls and roaring rapids. The trip starts calmly on the lower section of the river, winding through green scenery of birch, pine, and small farms, before the river narrows and the rapids increase. Here, you’ll encounter West Finnmark and the Alta River at their most spectacular. We travel into the very heart of Alta Canyon, Northern Europe’s largest canyon. With steep cliffs rising up to 300-420 meters above us and a length exceeding 10 km, it’s a sight that leaves most people breathless.
