Horseback Riding in the arctic Countryside

Come out to a real arctic ranch! Just 10 minutes from Alta city, Flatmoen Farm lies in quiet surroundings with wilderness in 3 directions. We will pick you up from your stay, then head out to the farm. We will greet the horses and talk a little bit about how the different horses work. And now the fun begins. We will head out to the woods to either walk, trot or gallop depending on your riding level. The trees hang over the narrow path in the forest, completely covered in snow. Surrounded by nature, the only sound you can hear is the horse’s hooves and heavy breathing in the crisp cold air.

Somewhere in the trip we will make a stop at our half-wall shelter, take a break and have a cinnamon bun with a cup of coffee. These woods are known for their moose population, so if you are lucky we might catch a glimpse of the king himself.
