Join an exciting husky safari in Tamokdalen and experience a once-in-a-lifetime adventure driving your own dog team. This guided tour takes you through Norway’s Arctic wilderness where you can lead the huskies across the snow.

In Tamokdalen, just 1.5 hours from Tromsø, you’ll find our husky kennel surrounded by dramatic mountains and valleys. Here, a team of friendly, eager huskies will be ready to take you on an unforgettable Arctic dogsledding adventure.
After a short introduction in English on sled handling and working with the dogs, you’ll set off in pairs: one as the musher (driver) and the other as the passenger. Midway, you’ll swap roles so everyone gets the full experience.
While the huskies race across the snow, you’ll feel the thrill of the Arctic wilderness — the crisp air, the sound of paws on snow, and the excitement of teamwork with your dog team create a truly memorable moment.
The dogsledding lasts approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on weather and snow conditions. Afterwards, you’ll return to camp to enjoy hot soup and drinks.
