The new 24 room wilderness lodge is built on the banks of the internationally renowned Alta River in Norway’s high Arctic. The lodge enables Sorrisniva to supplement their traditional ice hotel and wilderness experiences with year-round premium accommodation together with new panoramic lounge and riverside restaurant areas.

The Arctic Wilderness Lodge development has created a unique experience for discerning guests wishing to experience the traditional Sorrisniva seasonal offerings including Midnight Sun and river boat excursions whilst staying in a premium quality lodge enjoying the world famous Sorrisniva cuisine and hospitality.

River Room (30,5 m2)
A high standard room with a sky-view window, private bathroom with shower, and a private balcony. Located on the ground floor of the lodge.
Capacity: up to 2 people in single or double occupancy.

River Suite (37,5 m2)
A high standard room with a sky-view window, private bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a private balcony. Located on the second floor of the lodge.
Capacity: up to 3 people in single or double occupancy.

CABIN ‘Radderud’
2-bedroom Rooms with a panoramic view into the forest and up to the skies! The rooms have large windows in bothe floors and gives you the feeling of being outside with the inside comfort. It’s a two-floor wooden builing, the first floor has two separate rooms with one double bed each, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a small kitchen spot with sink plus kettle and a hall room. The second floor has a living room with sofa and a kitchen table/chairs.
* Suitable for 4-6 persons.

CABIN ‘Alaska’, ‘Elva’, ‘Gaisa’, and ‘Kjøkkenhagen’
1-bedroom cabins with double beds. Two floor buildings, vertical divided with separate entrance for each unit. First floor there is one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a small kitchen spot with sink and kettle and a hall. Second floor a living room with sofa and kitchen table/chairs.
* Suitable for 2-3 persons.

All prices are per night and incluedes beakfast served in the restuarant.

The Forest Suite is a testament to contemporary design, featuring a modern wooden A-frame cabin that beautifully merges with the forest around it. Its striking 5-meter tall windows open up to the serene forest, inviting nature inside and offering breathtaking views.

The suite includes a cozy living room, a comfortable bedroom, and a well-appointed bathroom, providing a luxurious retreat amidst the tranquility of nature. The Forest Suite is an ideal sanctuary for those looking to immerse themselves in the Arctic’s beauty while enjoying modern comforts. We’ve included the option for a comfortable double sofa bed, allowing you to share the room with up to four guests.
