North Cape, celebrated as the northernmost point of Europe's land, is a very popular destination for travelers from around the world. But it's not the easiest place to get to, especially for people who are planning activities in Alta, Tromsø¸ or other cities in the north. This tour provides you with a luxurious alternative to taking public transit buses in order to reach this remote destination. More convenient, and much more fun!

You'll start from Alta in the morning with your own guide and a private car. You'll travel through the forested valleys around Alta, and then up and onto the rough and rugged Finnmarksvidda high plateau. The journey will take you through the sparsely-covered land of rolling hills to the coast, and along the way there your guide can slow down or stop for an occasional picture. And of course, our guides are full of stories and information to make the long journey go quickly by.

Once at North Cape, you'll receive a certificate to commemorate your journey, stamped with North Cape's exclusive seal, and a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate. There will be plenty of time to explore the visitor center there, and wander out to the big iron globe. Look around, and look out to the open ocean... it really does feel like the start or end of the whole world! You can eat lunch at either a coffee shop or in the Kompassen restaurant while you are at North Cape. When your visit is complete, your guide will bring you safely back to Alta again.

The tour includes a guide and private car, transport to North Cape and back to Alta, entrance to North Cape, certificate and sparkling wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative). Lunch is not included in the price.

It is possible to build a "Midnight Sun at North Cape" tour with us (although of course, we cannot guarantee that the sky will be clear at midnight!) that includes a late-evening arrival at North Cape. Contact us for details!
