All week from September to March we are hunting for the northern lights.
If you are interested in the northern lights and local history then our trips will be perfect for you. Our guide will have you as the main focus on the trip. Depending on the weather you can explore different parts of Alta, the coastline and maybe the areas where the Sami people live. The guide has knowledge about the northern lights, basic photo knowledge, and can also tell you about the culture and history of Alta, and how it has been to grow up with the aurora borealis.
During the trip you will also have time to enjoy the silence, the nature in the autumn or the winter darkness on your way to find the northern lights. Our guide will ensure that you’re having a great time and will answer all your questions and also help you if you have your own camera.
The tour includes transport from and back to Alta city center. Sorrisniva reserves the right to cancel or move the tour to the next day if regional weather conditions or the northern lights forecast are unfavorable.
