Do you want to explore the Norwegian outdoor life like the locals do? On this 2 km walk we leave the boat and walk towards our camp in the forest. Our local guide will tell you about the history of Alta from the earliest settlements, the early northern lights research in the area, nature and culture, dog mushing and the local history up until today.
When we arrive our camp we will have a fireplace and meet our Husky dogs. Here we will connect to nature. We also make coffee/ tea on the fireplace and have traditional Norwegian waffle cake before we head back to the boat.
The tour includes approximately 2 kilometers of walking. Note that even though this tour has a maximum limit of 30 guests, it is possible to schedule several departures per day, as close together as every two hours.
