Guests will transfer by bus (no guide) to Holmen Husky Lodge for a dogsled tour and unique overnight experience.
On arrival, the hosts will greet the guests and outfit them in warm thermal suits, boots and gloves. After a safety briefing, they will depart on a dogsled ride. The guests will be passengers riding 2 by 2 on each sled, and driven along beautiful forest and riverside trails by a trained guide.
After the ride, the guests will have a chance to relax – take a shower if desired – before a delightful dinner of local flavors. A sauna and Jacuzzi are available for after dinner. Overnight accommodation is in an intriguing tipi-cabin, with double bed (and electric blankets!), a wood stove, and part of the tipi wall replaced by clear plastic to afford a view of the night sky outside. Guests may even get to hear the dogs sing in the evening in the adjacent dog yard before settling down for the night. In the morning, a delicious breakfast will get the guests ready to resume their adventures.
